Find your inner wealth

Discover your greatest asset – You.

Are You a Success — or a Failure?

Are you constantly reviewing your mistakes — or reveling in your greatest achievements?

If you are more apt to review your mistakes and punish yourself for them, try this: Be kind to yourself!  Remember that everything in life happens for a reason. No matter how badly you messed up, be thankful for the lesson. Allow yourself to see how you will do it better next time, and move on.

Chances are, you have achieved something amazing in your life, whether it be a relationship, career, or great your health. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but you hinder your progress when you allow your talents, qualities, and blessings go unacknowledged. Pat yourself on the back for your most minor accomplishments — and you will find that you have more to pride yourself on.

Start to list the valuable wisdom and insight that you have attained. Include all past goals that you have now reached, then list everything in your life that you are thankful for. Quite soon, you will feel the jubilation in realizing that you are, in fact,  quite successful and abundantly wealthy in the things that money cannot buy.  Accept this new-found wealth with gratitude.

It is only with the sincerest gratitude that you will find wealth. You must appreciate what you already have now, because money can only buy things. True joy does not come from things, it comes from human interaction. If you don’t believe me, imagine having a billion dollar mansion and living alone, surrounded by people that only want your money – now, how would that feel?  It’s a lesson I have learned for myself and I am here to tell you that You cannot buy friends or loved ones. Therefore, you must be thankful for what – and who – you have now. Otherwise, no amount of money will ever be enough to satisfy your ever-increasing demand for more.

Count your blessings. Realize what you have and be thankful for it.  That is Your Inner Wealth.  If you want others to invest their time, love, money, and attention into you, it is You that must first define and appreciate your personal value. No one else can do for you, but you.

In fact, happy, healthy, successful people focus their efforts on Building Yourself up with positive talk and clear self images.

Now you can, too.

Now, it’s your turn to talk back:

What inner wealth do you already have that you have ignored – a spouse, children, family members, your job, business, freedom, health, or …?
